Kevin Oreck Architect, Inc., founded in 1990, pays great attention to every step of the design and construction process. We work collaboratively with our clients to satisfy their needs and budget. We have an extensive knowledge of design, historical precedent, building construction and technology, and a commitment to environmental sustainability.

Our residential work is a balance of modern and traditional, new homes and remodeling, high-end and modest. Though most of our work is residential, we have also completed a variety of commercial projects, including several production companies and offices. We are currently working on two modernist solar-powered gas stations.

Principal Kevin Oreck graduated with honors from U.C. Berkeley in 1982 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cellular Biology, and then from U.C.L.A. in 1986 with a Master’s Degree in Architecture. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Society of Architectural Historians, and the Los Angeles Conservancy. He is frequently a guest critic at California Polytechnic State University, Pomona School of Architecture, and serves on the design review board for City Council District 13, which includes Hollywood and Silverlake. Kevin is licensed to practice architecture in the state of California.
